NEUROFEEDBACK / IS MY BRAIN NORMAL?
It can help you to be healthier, happier, and more successful at life! What's that mean? Different things to different people, but, generally, brain training gently encourages the brain to fix itself in these five major areas:
Increased attention span: Better concentration and focus at school, in sports and at work
The brain can only function for a few minutes without oxygen. Pilots who fly for the airlines know this. That’s why those little yellow masks pop out of the ceiling when the plane loses cabin pressurization. Activity as simple as a brisk walk 3-4 times a week sends more blood and oxygen to the brain.
It makes sense. The better the fuel, the better your car runs. Cheap gas gums up the inside of the engine. Refined sugar, alcohol and many grains do the same to your brain and body. We teach a system of feeding your brain that is as tasty as it is good for you!
Train the Brain
With oxygen flowing to the brain and proper amounts of good fats, lean proteins and carbohydrates feeding your brain cells, training the brain to be sharp, calm, and full-functioning is a simple task with EEG neurofeedback. The results last for decades!

- Complete the survey on this site, and submit it to our office online. Our brain mapping specialist will then determine if a brain map is right for you. He will contact you by phone to discuss his findings. This service is free.
- If you’re a good match, and with your consent, you’ll schedule a one-hour QEEG brain map (including a Heart Rate Variability study). The one-hour follow up visit to see your results is included.
- If you choose neurofeedback (brain training) your sessions can be scheduled immediately.
Quantitative EEG Brain Mapping and Training
This device (QEEG) will tell you where your brain is overworking, underworking or functioning at a level that is ‘just right’.
When the different parts of the brain are operating at the right speed, the brain can rest, relax and repair itself… so it can then perform at its best when you need it to.
Stress Response Analysis
Work, school, relationships, finances…all these daily activities place a strain on our bodies… and our brains!
We can now measure the effects of stress in six different ways… brainwaves, breathing, heart rate, hand temperature, clamminess and muscle tension.
Heart Rate Variability
When breathing patterns are trained in a certain way, the heart maintains an ideal rhythm and the brain & nervous system relax. This lowers blood pressure and strengthens the immune system.

Testimonials
“I’m 20. With over a dozen concussions, I watched my football career, my academic excellence and my life end. After a year of neurofeedback training (and hard work on my own) I am making a comeback.” ~Zach F. - Albuquerque
" I came to SWBPC with three goals: to determine whether I had Alzheimer's; to be able to sleep after titrating off 12 years of Lunesta and 5 years of Prozac; to be able to meditate again. Not only have those goals been achieved, I have experienced an ability to speak in public confidently and effectively; a new optimism about a productive peaceful future; valuable information on brain health that will serve me the rest of my life; a passion to share the benefits of bio and neuro feedback to others; respect and gratitude to Dr. Meints and the wonderful staff at SWBPC!"
"I have to tell you that last week I had uninterrupted sleep 5 out of 7 days! It felt amazing and I feel great!"
"After a severe head injury, I saw several doctors for help with TBI, but their treatments only addressed my symptoms, not the cause. Eventually I was referred to Dr. Meints who introduced BrainCore Neurofeedback Therapy as part of my recovery program. Improvement was rapid and immediately visible. After just a month, I'm already off the psychotropic meds and my only regret is that I did not know about this type of therapy sooner."
"I feel less stressed and more alert. The brain work has made me better able to deal with my life.” ~Betty D.
“No more stress and I have better health, less grumpy, sleep better, enjoy life… “ ~Tammy A.
