DOT Physical Examinations
It isn't always easy to navigate where to get a DOT exam, but here we are. Our top priorities at Southwest Brain Performance Centers are patient care, effectiveness, and privacy. We aim to make your DOT exam as uncomplicated and reliable as possible. Here are some reasons why bus and truck drivers choose us over other training facilities to earning their CDLs:
- Convenient Scheduling: We recognize the value of your time. To accommodate your busy schedule, we offer appointment availability Monday through Friday.
- Welcoming Environment: Our contemporary office space provides a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Our friendly staff will welcome you and help you every step of the way.
- Experienced and Certified Physician: Our doctor has FMCSA certification and 35 years of experience to bring to your DOT examination. You can have confidence that you are in good hands.
- Efficient Service We value your time. With no compromises to the quality of our service, we aim to have you in and out in 30 minutes or less.
- Health-First Approach: As part of your examination, we use a urine sample to look for potential health problems. This is not a drug test but a measure we are taking as part of our commitment to putting your health and safety first.

What To Expect

You can expect a thorough, professional, and friendly experience when you visit Dr. Meints at Southwest Brain Performance Centers for your DOT Physical Examination. A thorough examination of your medical history will occur before your appointment begins. Dr. Meints will evaluate your general health and review any existing conditions or concerns. He has 35 years of experience and is FMCSA certified.
You'll then have a thorough physical examination. This includes common examinations like taking your blood pressure and heart rate and evaluating your vision and hearing. We'll also collect a urine sample from upholding our health-first approach. This is not a drug test but only for health screening purposes. Simply put, we're checking for any potential health problems that might limit your capacity for safe driving.
It is important to note that we do not send the records to the Motor Vehicle Division and that we only provide you with all the paperwork needed for your CDL.
