The best place to start is to schedule your FREE consultation with our Patient Advocate, Coby. Please click the link at the bottom of this page to be directed to our online scheduling service. Or you can call the office directly at (505) 888 - 6800 if you don't want to wait!
Unfortunately, we are a cash-based practice so we do not accept or bill insurance.
The reason we do not participate in any private health insurance program is because the reimbursement amount for the health care we provide is very poor.
But, we are able to provide you with an itemized receipt that includes diagnosis codes that can be submitted to your insurance for the potential of reimbursement. In addition, insurance does not cover the Functional Neurology and Neurofeedback services that we offer.
Medicare patients are on a case-by-case basis. Please call the office at (505) 888 - 6800 to find out more.
We accept cash, check, and most major credit cards (except American Express). Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) can also be used to cover chiropractic care.
We do accept auto accident cases that have MedPay, however we have very strict guidelines for this method of payment. See Personal Injury/Auto Accident in the 'New Patients' tab for more information.
We also take the CareCredit as a form of payment. This allows you to use 1 transaction to finance treatment and pay over time. Go to http://carecredit.com/bundle to see if you prequalify!
We will accept if it is your insurance only (MedPay). MedPay is a benefit that some people choose to have on their own auto insurance policy, which allows the doctor's office to bill to and be paid by the patient's insurance company.
Your insurance agent discussed MedPay with you when you purchased your auto insurance policy, and is a benefit that you will have paid premiums for.
We must call to verify the information first before we proceed with scheduling your appointment, so we require your insurance carrier's information, your policy number, and the name of your insurance agent.
We do not work with attorneys or accept third-party liability. Third-party liability means that blame has been assigned to the driver that hit you and that you are relying on their insurance company to pay your bills. These claims are usually not paid until the claim is settled, with can take several months at a minimum.
After providing us with the Intake Form, it is important to bring all relevant reports, imaging and labs that you may have received in the past.
This may include MRI or CT scans, as well as any blood work or provider notes related to your current condition.
You can fax any records to our office at (505) 888-6812.
Yes, this process has your brain actively learning, so it will continue to use its new capabilities and reinforce them!
However, the answer is not as straightforward when dealing with degenerative conditions (i.e. Parkinson’s and dementia) or a condition in the autism spectrum. In these cases, training would need to be continued for an extended period of time.
Individuals may experience minor discomfort during a chiropractic adjustment, but it typically dissipates shortly after the appointment. Some patients experience minor side effects after an adjustment, which include headache, fatigue or pain in the area of the body that was treated. We always recommend that our patients increase their water intake after a chiropractic adjustment.
No, we do not use prescription medication with our treatments. If necessary, we do recommend supplementation.

Many of our athletes come to us for performance enhancement. As the results of many hits over an athlete's career, overall performance can start to decline. Many athletes seek our care for concussions, advanced age, or they are seeking a competitive edge.
Athletes should also consider getting Baseline Testing to measure your healthy brain pre-injury. See Baseline Testing in our 'What we do' tab.
We have seen hundreds of patients over the past decade, each with a unique brain health situation that we have addressed on an individual basis.
Many of our patients have complex cases, which they had seen other providers with limited results.

The length of a treatment program will depend upon your condition.
Typically we see patients for 3 hours a day for 5 days. After these treatments, we re-evaluate the patient and modify the treatment plan.
Once the patient has completed their in-office visits, they will be sent home with a customized home exercise program that is similar to the exercises they performed in the office.
This program may be modified as a patient improves!
